The allotment shop will be open on Saturday and Sundays throughout the growing season, normal hours are 10:00 until 11:30.

The next ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING date and information, will be posted here at the beginning of 2017.

OPEN DAY & PLANT SALE – Saturday 11th June ~ Midday until 4pm (see below)

Town Fayre 2014

Despite the 11mm of rain on the day, the SSALGA fresh fruit and veg stall at the Stony Town Fayre raised a very respectable £346.71. A big thank you to all those who donated produce, jams and chutneys, and to those who braved the elements to buy them! Thanks also to those running the stall – Keith Tilley, Anne Ratcliffe, Hilary Benjamin, Bruce Charlier, and Noel and Sue Barnard.

We will once again be having a stall at the Town Fayre on Monday 25th August to be held on Horsefair Green.  The very best quality fruit, vegetables and home-made produce will be on sale at very reasonable prices. Come early to avoid disappointment as some things sell very quickly.

The proceeds of the sale go towards the cost of maintaining the London Road Allotments to the standards we consider our plot-holders deserve, and to help to keep rents the lowest in the area.

Open Day and Plant Sale June 2014

This year’s Open Day and Plant sale will be on Saturday 14th June 2014, 12.00pm until 4.00pm, and the plot judging will be during that week.  Again we are begging any spare plants, cuttings, produce or anything else that we can sell to raise money to help with the maintenance costs of the site. A table will be placed outside the allotment shop for you to leave your donations or contact Anne Ratcliffe or any member of the committee.
